The inverted i of our logo indicates the problem, the bottleneck which can be found in a value chain or the challenges facing people in a region; the final dot suggests a successful outcome, an upward and forward movement, an exit through a process (the circle) which considers a whole. Impact[o], as the name suggests means change… to make this a better world for all!
impact[o] – café
Access to knowledge has become a driving strategy to improve competitiveness among smallholder coffee producer organizations. This knowledge focus must include investing in the development of future organizational leaders, who can creatively participate in solving new challenges: climate change, complexity and risks in the coffee market, capitalization, food security, including women and youth, crop diversification, aging plantations, migration, new technologies, among others.
impact[o] – textil
We aim to develop products that leverage the ancestral knowledge of the artisans of textiles. Our model implies putting forward the development of new and differentiated product propositions, while transferring knowledge to artisans on key success factors both productive and commercial, to operate a successful venture (either local cooperatives or groups of women).
